Storm Virtual Energy Video Ball Review

Since the release of the Virtual Gravity™, Storm has been inundated with positive feedback and inquires of future designs. The combination of the Gravity Shift™ and Virtual Gravity™
gave bowlers a look that they had never seen before on heavier oil; mid-lane control with explosive back-end reactions. One of the greatest features is their adaptability on changing back-end motion depending on the layout chosen.

Our intent with the Virtual Energy™ is to utilize the early revving motion and explosive back-end characteristics of the Shape-Lock™ HD core, along with the performance proven R2X™ coverstock. The coverstock is the key element to this equation and engineering the right blend of solids and pearls to create the perfect compliment to its predecessors.

Overview:

The testing phase brought several factors into play. We tested several coverstock combinations with the profilometer, as well as, on-lane C.A.T.S. testing. Our goal was to develop a ball that utilizes the best characteristics of its predecessors as well as creating its own unique performance.

Our final product is the R2X™ Hybrid. The combination of the two pearls and a solid reactive delivers the perfect fit within our product line. The solid generates just enough mid-lane read on the heavier volume patterns, while the two pearlized parts deliver the strong motion on the back-end.

The Virtual Energy™ is the perfect complement to Storm’s Premier line of bowling balls.

2009 Storm USBC Silver Level Coaches

Recently fourteen sales and staff members from Storm attended a 3-day conference to complete all the requirements for USBC Silver Level Coaching. This advanced level training taught our staff member such skills as:

· Building a bowling arsenal

· Advanced lane adjustment

· Video Analysis

· Matching ball surfaces to lane conditions

Storm Bowling – VIRTUAL IN VEGAS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Brigham City, UT—Storm Products, Inc. today announced the winners of the Virtual in Vegas tournament. The grand prize winner of the four week virtual tournament is Mrs. Patricia Ledford of Atlanta, GA.

The Virtual in Vegas event is an online tournament in which bowlers could compete nationwide with the new Storm Virtual Gravity™ bowling ball for a chance at over $10,000 in cash and prizes. The Virtual Gravity™ is the latest high performance release by Storm Products. Bowlers purchasing a Virtual Gravity™ were eligible for this unique tournament, and participants posted their scores on virtualtournamnets.com.

The top 5 qualifiers from each of the 4 weeks then competed for the grand prize of $2,500 in cash, airfare and hotel accommodations to Las Vegas, NV., tickets for the USBC Masters Pro Am, match play, TV finals, and dinner with Storm PBA pro staff.

“I really love bowling” said Patricia “it’s a sport the whole family can enjoy and do together.” Patricia bowled a 649 series (216, 225, 208) with her Virtual Gravity ™ to win the grand prize.

“To help me calm down my husband, Dwayne, made a small bet with me” Patricia commented “we would have a few practice games, if he won I would make him breakfast in bed at 6:00 every day for a month, if I won he would clean the house for a month”.
